This Page will help give you an idea of how I Run things and may also help answer some Questions you may have.
the first thing you need to know is this is basically a one man operation, I spend countless hours searching for rare and unique grip materials, I cut the material up into grip blanks, shape and sand it into grips, apply finish to all the
grips, package and ship all the grips, deal with other customers that are
ahead of you, and I run my website. because of this and the fact that I have a personal family life it can sometimes
take me a few days to respond to new customers. Please be patient, in the past I have had trouble with my email so if you don't hear from me after four days then there is a possibility I didn't get your email or that I replied to your email but you didn't get it.
here are some Frequently Asked Questions.
Q: how long will it take you to make my grips?
A: right now it takes me around five weeks to make the grips from start to finish. it can take slightly longer if I run into any problems while making the grips and sometimes I can make them a little sooner, especially when working with a material that doesn't require a finish such as Stag, Ivory, Bone or Rams Horn.
Q: What finish do you suggest?
A: it depends on the material that is being used, some materials don't need a finish, some materials require an oil finish and some look best with a Polyurethane Finish. for most woods I prefer to use a semi gloss Polyurethane finish.
Q: is your shop open to the public?
A: i'm afraid not. my business is run from my Home and I prefer to keep it as private as possible.
Q: do you checker grips?
A: at this time I do not checker grips. I do however stipple grips.
